Our volunteers provide a valuable service to family researchers. To make it easier for them to help you, follow guidelines they have requested to handle your request.

  1. Before submitting a request, find the name of the person on-line book index to be sure that the name is listed.
  2. Format the Subject Line of your email as "Lookup, Name of bio subject, County"
  3. Include in your email message the name, township and page that is listed in the index above. I ask that the email be in ASCII plain text format. (That is, not HTML format.)
  4. I will email a digital photo as a *.JPG attachment of the relevant biographical sketch. The photos are about 30 to 40 Kb and most sketches require 2 to 4 photos. Note: Some email or antivirus programs are setup to reject *.JPG attachments. Please check yours.
